Every year we turn to you, our dear community, to ask for your help bringing a new season to life. Because of you, we are able to grow each year, build on what we’ve made together and spark in new dialogues, both here on Bergen Street and beyond.

Every dollar you give to our Kickstarter goes directly to commissioning new artist-driven projects in our space. We believe that when given space, funding, and resources to experiment, artists produce outstanding work. Your donation, small or large, makes our artist’s wildest dreams a reality, bringing their energy, vision and insights to 51 Bergen Street. With your contribution, we will meet and surpass our Kickstarter Goal of $25,000.

This year all our rewards are related to food, cooking and the kitchen. If you know our director well, this doesn’t need explanation. If you don’t know, cooking is Lucien’s new obsession. Everyday he is experimenting in the kitchen and documenting it through his Instagram account @lucienchefambition. Food connects to many of our values here at The Invisible Dog: sharing, learning, loving.

We have so much planned for our 9th season: ambitious installations, fresh performances, readings, workshops and concerts. This year we program a series of events in our outdoor space and expand our youth-oriented programming.
