The Recipe: Ile Flottante // Kristin Worrall

According to legend, during the Roman Empire, Saint Valentine was imprisoned and later executed for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry. What would you do for love? Would you die for love? Valentine’s Day – the Feast of St. Valentine – has since evolved into a day when lovers can express their love for one another openly. One way is through dessert.

Come celebrate the holiday to commune, feast, and learn how to make Île Flottante (“Floating Islands”), a classic French dessert. Kristin will share time-tested recipes, tips, and anecdotes of love and heartbreak that you may share with your lover, your friends, or keep just for yourself. It’s an evening where the kitchen and the theater collide, prompting the question: When should we follow a recipe and when we should we break the rules?

All guests will receive dessert after the show.
