This panel will specifically discuss the grassroots art initiatives that have transformed the art scene in Brooklyn. The audience is encouraged to contribute to the discussion by offering individual views of how the art scene has impacted the different neighborhoods.


Panelists:
Ella Weiss, President of Brooklyn Arts Council; Jose Parla, Artist of NLE’s “Something Out of Nothing” Exhibition; Catherine Hickey, Director of Retail/Commercial Development of Metrotech BID and sponsor of Willoughby Windows Project; Risë Wilson and Petrushka Bazin, Founder and Program Coordinator respectively for The Laundromat Project
