CreativeMornings: New York is Creative

  • The Invisible Dog Art Center 51 Bergen Street Brooklyn, NY, 11201 United States (map)

Welcome to CreativeMorning’s first indoor event since March 2020!

We’re celebrating with a showcase of all the things that make our New York community an exemplar of creative life. Whether you’ve made postcards, played music, written poetry, nurtured plant life, or practiced kindness – bring your stories and samples of your work (if possible) to share with the CMNYC community!

If you participated in February Feel-Good, you can take this opportunity to celebrate its culmination and share what you learned across this journey. Be it painting, crochet, or interpretive dance, we can’t wait to cheer you on.

We also, of course, want to include our regulars from outside NYC! We will be experimenting with livestreaming the event. Register for the event to receive the livestream link.

Featuring a Live Musical Performance from Victoria Paterson.

Safety Precautions
This event will be our first indoor event since March 2020. You will be required to…

  • Provide proof of vaccination.

  • Wear masks the entire time you are indoors. All food and drink must be consumed outside.

  • Stay home if you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 or are not feeling well with symptoms commonly associated with COVID-19 (e.g., loss of smell/taste and/or fever)

About CreativeMornings
In 2008, Tina Roth Eisenberg (Swissmiss) started CreativeMornings out of a desire for an ongoing, accessible event for New York’s creative community. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month. Every event would be free of charge and open to anyone.

Today, attendees gather in cities around the world to enjoy fresh coffee, friendly people, and an international array of breakfast foods. Volunteer hosts and their team members organize local chapters that not only celebrate a city’s creative talent, but also promote an open space to connect with like-minded individuals. The growing archive of past breakfast talks is humbling. From design legends to hometown heroes, speakers are selected by each chapter based on a global theme
